This sensor-to-CAN module produces analog, digital & pulse measurements from up to 8 input sensors. The data is output via CAN bus and can be integrated with any system (configurable baud rate & CAN IDs).The compact device offers pro specs incl. high accuracy and high-frequency sampling - as well as configurable input ranges and digital thresholds.One popular use case is to deploy the CANmod.input together with our CANedge1 (B07XPCGT9H) or CANedge2 (B07XP5XJS3) CAN bus data loggers. This combination is plug & play via our DB9-DB9/DB9 or DB9-DB9/USB adapter cables.The input-to-CAN module can be used with various types of sensors, incl:-Analog: Force/pressure, current, distance, rotation, temperature, hall effect, magnometers, humidity, sound, acceleration, gyroscopes, ...-Digital: Hall effect switches, buttons, reed switches, resistance-to-digital (RTD) sensors, ...- Pulse: Rotational speed sensors, rotational position sensors, buttons & toggle switches, frequency meters, ...Configuration is done by connecting the device via USB to your PC and loading the JSON config file in our simple-to-use GUI editor. Easily modify your sensor settings or adjust data output frequencies, CAN IDs and baud rate (incl. support for custom advanced baud rates).You can also use our optional DB25-input adapter cable to quickly connect sensors (not included). The module also supports a dedicated excitation signal for powering input sensors (~3.3 V).
