Barley reaches a height of 40-90 cm, depending on the variety. The stems of the plant have well-developed nodes and hollow internodes, branching from the root itself - in the branching node. The leaves are flat, regular, consist of a linear, narrow plate. Сereal blooms in June-July. The fruit of barley is a caryopsis. The plant begins to bear fruit in late July - August.
