The beans are grown in family farms in Apia, a town in the Risaralda Department in Colombia – a region known worldwide for its quality coffee. More than 4 generations have been honing their skills in our family. Nature also lends a hand, because the altitude of the terrain, the soils and the microclimate in this region gives the coffee a very distinct flavor and a unique balance between acidity and sweetness. To guarantee the high quality of our product, we get the first pick of the beans in those family farms. We do this before the larger companies, so we can carefully select the best coffee and we don’t have to make any compromises in quality. After the selection is done, it is followed by roasting and packaging, which is done with precision in order to preserve the freshnessand the world class aroma and flavor of this gourmet coffee.
