In the early '00s, Nike Basketball created a fake basketball team for some fun TV spots. Recreating the rollicking '70s era of basketball, the retro ads starred some of Nike's biggest names at the time and became a sensation. The Nike Dri-FIT Premium Rayguns Shorts use appliqués with sequins inspired by some of the funky costumes from the commercials.
