The raw linseed oil is used as a binding agent in linseed oil paint, to nourish and rejuvenate wood, used as a component in glazing putty, used on metal to prevent rust and much more! Both raw and boiled linseed oil can be stored indefinitely.
- EASY TO USE: Use raw purified linssed oil right out of the jug! Apply fairly warm and in thin coats, thinner than you even think! Linseed oil can be applied with a soft rag or brush. After your project is finished, easy cleanup can be done using linseed oil soap.
- VERSATILE: Use this Purified Swedish Raw Linseed Oil as a base coat before painting with linseed oil paint. Use to nourish wood shingles, wood siding, wood decks, porches, wooden boats, undercoating for cars etc. Use Raw Linseed Oil to store your paint brushes too!
- PAINT REMOVAL: Apply the Swedish Pure Raw Linseed Oil to old paint prior to heating with Speedheater IR Paint Removal System. This will soften the paint layers and reduce paint dust created by scraping. It is recommended to apply raw linseed oil at least 24 hours before paint removal. Scrape away old paint with ease after applying linseed oil!
