- Complete set of (5) Grade 8 yellow zinc plated carriage bolts, serrated flange nuts and push nut bolt retainers for the rear side and (3) Grade 8 yellow zinc plated flange bolts and serrated flange nuts for the front side. To attach the gas tank skid plate to the frame on all 1981-1986 CJ's with the optional poly tank. Yes it's overkill to attach the gas tank skid with Grade 8 hardware but it's a Jeep and you never know what you might rip off it next. Plus they look good and they're way more corrosion resistant than the stock hardware so you won't be fighting to get them off the next time you need to drop your tank.
