| Directions | SETUP INSTRUCTIONS: UNBOX AND CHECK PARTS Confirm all components are included such as canister, hoses, intake tube, outlet tube, and filter pads. RINSE FILTER MEDIA Rinse all filter pads and any additional media using clean water or dechlorinated aquarium water before use. LOAD FILTER MEDIA Place the included filter pads inside the canister trays. Optional: Add ceramic rings, activated carbon, or bio balls to improve filtration. CONNECT HOSES Attach the inlet and outlet hoses securely to the canister. Install the intake strainer and output nozzle inside the aquarium. POSITION THE FILTER Place the canister filter below the aquarium water level to allow proper water flow. FILL WITH WATER Fill the canister completely with water to begin siphon flow. Ensure hoses are also filled to reduce trapped air. START THE FILTER Plug in the unit to begin operation. Water should begin circulating through the system. CHECK FOR LEAKS AND FLOW Inspect all connections and ensure proper water flow. Adjust hose placement if needed. MAINTENANCE GUIDELINES: CLEANING FREQUENCY Clean the filter every 2 to 4 weeks depending on tank size and bio load. FILTER MEDIA CARE Rinse filter pads and biological media using aquarium water only.
