Named by Saul Koll of the Koll Guitar Company for it's thunderous bottom-end, the ThunderTron is an all-around stand-out performer with superior dynamic sensitivity and punch. Made somewhat similarly to the TV Classic, it exudes clarity but is backed up by a forceful and vigorous low end. String-to-string response is excellent, and notes ring out with supreme fullness...a great all around bass pickup that can get edgy if you dig in with a pick, or lay low with some light finger picking. In between the ThunderMag (slightly brighter) and ThunderBlade (slightly warmer) when it comes to top-end eq.
