Nice and large Shoofly quilt in beige/tan on a cream background. Sashing is red and blue. Batting feels like polyester, and the back is red prints. Hand quilting is good. Overall contrast of light and dark colors is very striking. Although it looks unused, it is still vintage bedding and may show signs of age and wear such as minor fading, loose threads or minor spots. The batting is most certainly polyester because the quilt feels soft and light despite its large size. The Shoofly is a much-loved pattern that dates back to the 1800s.
Measures a large 98x82 and shown covering up my queen bed entirely and some. Y'all need to help me downsize my collection to support my many charities.
