The POLARIE Multi Mounting Block is designed to replace the original mounting block to attach to Vixen dovetail plates such as the dovetail slide bar DD. Loading capacity of the POLARIE star tracker can be increased up to approx. 14.3 lbs (6.5kg) through proper balance, enabling the mounting of heavy equipment such as a telephoto lens. PRODUCT FEATURES: ■ Upon relaxing the clamp lever, the mount can be moved easily to facilitate change of position ■ The provided PFL Polar Scope compatible hole permits polar alignment without removal of the POLARIE polar scope PFL when using the dovetail slide bar DD or dovetail slide bar PG. ■ In combination with major accessories such as the dovetail slide bar DD and dovetail slide bar PG, deep-sky photography using telephoto lens or a compact optical tube can be easily put into practice.
